Bertha (or Barbara) was the last (as far as we know) of her generation to be born from Joseph and Anna Seiler. She grew up in Northern Illinois, in Chemung and Chicago. Her husband was a Lawyer, and they moved from Chicago to Oregon between the 1900 census and 1910 census. The 1910 census shows her living in Portland City Oregon and her occupation is Finisher in a tent factory.

Henry F Joslin died between 1910 and 1920. 1920 census shows Barbara as a widow.
We know for a fact that Barbara is still living as of December 10, 1937 as she is listed in Adam Seiler's obituary.
